Multicolour Stamping with Markers…

This Multicolour Stamping with Markers technique is an oldie but a goodie, it is such a nice way of taking a single stamp and stamping it in a whole variety of colours. I have used the Shaded Summer stamp set for this card, I just love the flowery images that are in the set, as well as all of those gorgeous sentiments! I actually made this card for the Global Design Project #292, I love taking part in challenges because it can really inspire the creative person inside. This week’s challenge was to CASE the designer, Susan Wong. What a […]

A very girly birthday card…

I made this girly birthday card for my niece’s birthday, I think it will be just perfect for her even though she isn’t a particularly girly girl. I was working on a project for my return to in person classes and this paper was out on my desk, just calling to be used. It is absolutely stunning, and from the new Expressions in Ink Designer Series Papers. These papers are absolutely gorgeous, and mimic an alcohol effect style, without the mess or the need to buy and learn how to use alcohol inks. And they have the most beautiful gold […]

I want to write today about a fabulous promotion that you can take advantage of when you Join Stampin’ Up! today. But it isn’t so much the promotion that I want to focus on, if that makes sense! There are so many wonderful opportunities as a member of the Stampin’ Up! family and it is those that my mind goes to when I think of writing this post. I have used my trusty Stampin’ Blends for this card today, I wanted to do something that I rarely see done and that is to use the blends to colour in the background, not just the main image. This can be a little tricky to do without getting a streaky look but I am going to try and help […]

How to assemble the Pansy Dies from Stampin’ Up!

I remember buying a set of orchid builder dies in my first year as a demonstrator, and never using them because I couldn’t figure out how to put them together easily, so I really want to share with you today how to assemble the Pansy Dies from the new Annual Catalogue, which goes live tomorrow – 4th May. I made this slimline card to show off both the stamps and the dies, they work really well together I think and I love the blue colours, though I think I am also going to make this card in purple, pink and […]

How to make a handmade card and gift tag set…

I just wanted to hope on fairly quickly today to share with you how to make a handmade card and gift tag set. This project looks so elegant and stylish I think, which seems perfectly fitting because I have used the new (available May 4th) suite of products called Simply Elegant. With its neutral tones and metallic highlights the Designer Series Paper lends itself really well to 3D projects just like this one. I have actually recorded an accompanying video to show you how to make this project, because it is much easier to see how things are done sometimes! […]
