Beautiful Bouquet…

I absolutely adore this co-ordinating stamp and die set. It was one of the very first that I bought and has been used time and time again. It is a photopolymer stamp set (£25) which means lining up those flowers and stems is super easy and just look at how many stamps you get, with a sentiment for all occasions this will soon become a go-to set for you I am sure. The co-ordinating Bouquet Bunch dies (£28) mean you can really step up your cards, with stems, bows, tag, foliage and much more. You can certainly make some beautiful […]

The Power of Hope…

Wow, when I saw this set I just knew it was one I needed to have. The stone embossing folder is like something I have never seen before and works just perfectly with the gorgeous images in the stamp set. This little bundle is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a £90 spend because you get both the folder and the stamps together. I thought that the Japanese inspired set would lend itself really well to making a little scene, with the women waling up to the temple. In order to make it appear that there are a few of the ladies […]

Honey Bee Stepper Card…

I had a Songbird Stampers Team Meeting last week and was asked by one of my lovely teamies if we could learn how to make a stepper card. I have made a couple of these in the past but not many so away I went to re-learn how to do this! I knew straight away that I wanted to use the Honey Bee Bundle and the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper which is FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a purchase over £45. It has the most gorgeous designs in Black, White and Foiled Gold. Stunning, and a perfect match for those […]

Scraps for Valentine’s Day…

When I wrote the heading for this post, I realised that most might think that these two things don’t go together. Using up our scraps to make a beautiful card for someone special? Really? Well, yes! You really can make a lovely card out of things that are just destined for the bin, and I am here to show you how. I also wanted to show you that some of the sets that we think are only for Valentine’s Day can be used year round. I absolutely love this sentiment from the Heartfelt set which reads “Being friends is better […]

Happy Birthday to You…

I was so loving colouring with the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers that I coloured in several of these gorgeous cake images from the Happy Birthday to You stamp set. If you like the look of this stamp set then read to the end to find out how you can win one of these for yourself. I have paired it here with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. This has some lovely floral patterns and I have chosen one with light pastel shades. I coloured the image in with Mint Macaron, So Saffron, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Blends, before cutting […]

Painted Poppies meets Nature’s Thoughts…

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the amazing new Nature’s Thoughts dies (£27), out now amongst many other things which co-ordinate with the Sale-a-Bration and the Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue. I loved the stamp set Positive Thoughts and bought these dies because they have the most gorgeous accents in them including a cute little butterfly, a feather and a perfectly sized bordered rectangle die. AND…. these stamps and dies will be carrying over into the next Annual Catalogue, so we will have plenty more time to play with them. I also wanted to use the Painted Poppies bundle and […]

Kerchief Card Kit…

I thought I would pop on and share this cute little card kit with you. It is one of the items that you can get for free at the moment when you spend over £45, and I had a lovely time making these cards. Aren’t they striking! Everything that you need comes in the kit, even little glue dots, though I did add a bit of Tombow Multipurpose liquid glue as it is my adhesive of choice! You can make two different types of cards, and 4 of each of these, so 8 in total… that’s not bad for a […]
