A Sweet Treat Box – Color Fusers Blog Hop – May ’26

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, and I’ve created a sweet treat box for you today, using a really summery combo that I will be honest and say I struggled with – this is my second attempt at a project to inspire you, and I hope that you like it. I received a similar project to this as a swap at On Stage! in Cologne this year, and resized it so that I could get two out of a single sheet of A4 cardstock. I’ve also made them as little gifts for my class ladies, and […]

A Layout that Always works – Be Inspired Blog Hop April ’26…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where this month we plan to inspire you with our favourite cardmaking layouts. I have combined the old with the new here, using some soon to be released new In Colours from Stampin’ Up! and paired them with the fabulous Lovely Arrangements stamp set – and a few other products too! The brand new colours that I chose to make this card with are called Hydrangea Hue (the blue), Barely Blush (the pink) and Peaceful Pine (the green). I love how beautifully they work together, and as always with Stampin’ Up! […]

Perfect birthday card for a teenage boy – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop April ’26…

I think I have got the perfect birthday card for a teenage boy for you today, especially if they love racing cars! The creativity abounds blog hop team are focussing on children’s cards this month, and I loved using the new Ready, Set, Go stamp set from Stampin’ Up! To make the card I started with a Basic White cardbase, and then added a Poppy Parade layer – whatever sizes you usually use for making your cards. I go for 21cm x 14.85cm, scored at 10.5cm, and a layer of 10.1cm x 14.4cm. You then need another piece of Basic […]

Delicate Whispers – Color Fusers Blog Hop – April ’26

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, and I’ve created a stylish birthday card using the Delicate Whispers bundle, and a gorgeous colour combo that I really wouldn’t have thought of using… in fact, one of these colours has barely seen light of day in my craft room… can you guess which? I have really enjoyed playing with the Delicate Whispers bundle from Stampin’ Up! with those gorgeous floral dies and coordinating stamps that are just perfect for colouring in, this set was the obvious choice for me today. One of the first things I do with […]

Cardmaking Techniques- Be Inspired Blog Hop Mar ’26…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where this month we plan to inspire you lots of cardmaking techniques. We have all chosen the one technique that we couldn’t live without, and that for me has to be watercolouring. I love the relaxing nature of just sitting and colouring with some ink and some water! I used the fabulous ‘Make a Wish’ standalone stamp set for this card, and it really is so simple. Just take some waterproof ink (like StazOn or Versafine) and stamp the images into a scene on some watercolour paper. There is no masking […]

Elegant Fun Fold Sympathy Card – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop March ’26…

I’ve got a lovely project to share with you today, a calming, elegant fun‑fold sympathy card made using the Delicate Whispers bundle for the beautiful foliage and florals, with sentiments from Framed All Around and Sending Salutations, plus a touch of Scalloped Wishes for that pretty scalloped frame. The colour palette is one of my favourites for soft, nature‑inspired cards: Crumb Cake and Misty Moonlight. The two photos you’ll see below are actually from the same card — one shows the front cover, and the other shows the inside once the fold is opened out. This design gives you four […]

Blended Florals – Color Fusers Blog Hop – February ’26

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, with one of my favourite colour combos – Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath – such a soft and gentle colour scheme, and one I truly enjoyed working with to make this blended florals card. I decided to play with some newly released products for this card, and unusually for me it is a very die heavy card, in fact, the only bit of stamping was for the sentiment! I used the dies from two different sets, that coordinate beautifully together, and actually form part of a mega suite. […]

Clean and Simple Cardmaking – Be Inspired Blog Hop Jan ’26…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where this month we plan to inspire you with clean and simple cardmaking. I’ll admit this isn’t something I am usually very good at – I am more a ‘throw the kitchen sink at it’ kind of crafter, but I love the look of clean and simple cards, so hope I have done a good job here. I used the gorgeous new stamp set Simply Beautiful for this card, I just love the large images and how they create a really striking focal point for the card. Add some colouring, with […]

Cute as a Bug scene card – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop January ’26…

Hello and welcome to my blog, where today I have got a super cute fun fold to share, using the new Cute as a Bug suite from Stampin’ Up! This suite was a huge hit when we first saw it in the new mini catalogue, and couldn’t wait to get started creating with it. It is loved by demonstrators so much that we decided to use it for our next Creativity Abounds stamp camp! I would absolutely love to share the instructions for this card with you today, but I have to save those for people who sign up to […]
