Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where our theme this month is Ocean Fun, and I have made a fairly clean and simple card using the Beach Day stamp and die sets from Stampin’ Up!

These sets have been out for a while now, but they are new to me and I had a lovely time stamping and colouring the elements for the front of my card, with the colours inspired by a card from my Color Cube from Sarah Renae Clark – I love having all that colour inspiration on hand and these work so beautifully together.

I matched the colours as closely as I could and chose Pretty Peacock, Summer Splash, Smoky Slate and Pretty in Pink, for a little pop of freshness. To contrast against the images which I coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers I brought out my blending brushes for the background, to give a really soft and gentle feel.
I ummed and urred about adding more to this card, but in the end decided to let the Beach Days stamps and dies speak for themselves, and simply added a sentiment to the bottom of the card. Clean and simple isn’t my usual style but I hope you’ll agree I think it works here!

If you like the look of this set you can purchase them through my online Stampin’ Up! store, you’ll find a link below. The stamps are £19 for the set and the dies are £32, but you get a lot for your money for those – here are the sets so you can have a closer look.

I hope you love this Beach Days card as much as I do and fingers crossed for some Summer Sun for us all really soon. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has made for us this month – please do hop along using the button below.
