Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit…

As is so often the case I am a little late to the party here, but I can safely say that I am LOVING working with the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit. If you don’t already have this in your Christmas loving hands I seriously recommend that you get it while stocks still last – I don’t think it will be long before this sells out. I happened to have the kit on my desk when I stumbled across this weeks Global Design Project challenge, #GDP268. The link to the page is at the bottom of this post, […]

How to create multicoloured stamped images…

I hadn’t realised until today that this week it is Thanksgiving in America, on Thursday 26th November. It is a time to step back and give thanks, and even though we don’t celebrate it over here in the UK, that doesn’t mean that we can’t also take a little time to reflect on what we have, and to be thankful for those things. I am most thankful for the friendship, creativity and community that Stampin’ Up! has offered me and continues to offer me, I honestly don’t know where I would be without it, without all of you. You are […]

How to make a gift box with matching card…

If you scroll to the bottom of today’s post you will find a video which shows you how to make a gift box with matching card. I had a play with the upcoming Fine Art Floral suite of products this morning, available from 5th January in the January – June Mini Catalogue. It is just so beautiful I couldn’t resist having diving in and having a go! I think my favourite part of the suite here has to be the Golden Garden Designer Speciaility Acetate, it is just so pretty and I show you in the video how to attach […]

Make a card for any occasion…

Hello and welcome stampers, I want to share a card with you today using some new products from the Stampin’ Up! Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue, in particular a stamp set and die combo which are just perfect for helping me make a card, for any occasion! One of my goals for the new Stampin’ Up! year (which started in October!) is to take part in more blog hops and challenges, so here is my first, using a layout from the Global Design Project #GDP266. The idea is that you take the sketch, theme, colour combination etc that is given, […]

Christmas Tree Ornament using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set

How to make a Christmas Tree Ornament…

Hello and welcome, I just wanted to hop online and show you how to make a Christmas Tree Ornament, using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and the Gleaming Ornaments punch pack. I made this during my recent Facebook Live video and just had to share it with you. It matches beautifully with the card I shared on my blog last week, you can pop over and have a look at my Colour Your Christmas Any Colour You Like post. Just don’t forget to come back to see how I made the ornament! Here is the card and the ornament together, […]

Colour your Christmas any colour you like…

One of the things I love about crafting is that things don’t always have to be accurate – you can colour your Christmas any colour you like – I opted for Highland Heather and Smoky Slate here, using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and my trusty Stampin Blends. Those ornaments are simply stunning aren’t they, the design and the colour! I actually used my Highland Heather and my Purple Posy Blends, because it meant I could really give it a 3D effect as the colour got light to the middle. The colour lifter really helps to fade it into white […]

Make something a little different…

I seem to have been making a lot of cards recently, and I wanted to make something a little different, so out came my trusty greyboard and some GORGEOUS Snowflake Splendor DSP. This project was started on a recent Facebook Live, but here it is in all it’s glory, I hope you like it. I must admit these papers and colours are my absolute favourite from the Aug-Dec Mini catalogue this year, and the Balmy Blue glimmer paper, well I have just ordered another two packs of that! If you would like to see how I made the hanging frame, […]
