Colour Challenge with Pretty Perennials…

I have been in a bit of a ‘blog’ slump after Christmas, so what better way to re-energise than to take part in a colour challenge with Pretty Perennials stamps and dies, this time set by the Global Design Project #GDP273, with the stunning combination of Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Night of Navy! Wow, what a great mix, and colours I would never think of to put together, but they really do work. I wanted to use the Pretty Perennials stamp set from the just released Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue, with it’s beautiful full bodied stamps and […]

I wanted to share a project today showing how to use Designer Series Paper in our cardmaking, because we are all guilty of hoarding it not using it! Gorgeous paper like this deserves to be shown off! I have used the brand new, not even launched yet, Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delightful DSP. I was inspired by a card made by my dear friend Rosie Minors, I loved how she has showcased […]

Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit…

As is so often the case I am a little late to the party here, but I can safely say that I am LOVING working with the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit. If you don’t already have this in your Christmas loving hands I seriously recommend that you get it while stocks still last – I don’t think it will be long before this sells out. I happened to have the kit on my desk when I stumbled across this weeks Global Design Project challenge, #GDP268. The link to the page is at the bottom of this post, […]

Make a card for any occasion…

Hello and welcome stampers, I want to share a card with you today using some new products from the Stampin’ Up! Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue, in particular a stamp set and die combo which are just perfect for helping me make a card, for any occasion! One of my goals for the new Stampin’ Up! year (which started in October!) is to take part in more blog hops and challenges, so here is my first, using a layout from the Global Design Project #GDP266. The idea is that you take the sketch, theme, colour combination etc that is given, […]

Colour your Christmas any colour you like…

One of the things I love about crafting is that things don’t always have to be accurate – you can colour your Christmas any colour you like – I opted for Highland Heather and Smoky Slate here, using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and my trusty Stampin Blends. Those ornaments are simply stunning aren’t they, the design and the colour! I actually used my Highland Heather and my Purple Posy Blends, because it meant I could really give it a 3D effect as the colour got light to the middle. The colour lifter really helps to fade it into white […]
