Easy Handmade Cards – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop June ’22…

The theme of this months Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop is ‘Keep It Simple’, and what better title for this blog post then than easy handmade card. Sometimes we think we have to go all out to make fancy and intricate cards, but that really isn’t so, and sometimes simple really is just as good (if not better!!) The Tech 4 Stampers are a wonderful group of Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators all learning and developing in the world of technology. But our first love is papercrafting, so we are here to share with you all some incredible designs to help […]

Stampin’ Up! Colour Co-ordination – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop April ’21…

The theme for this month’s blog hop is ‘Pretty in Pink’, so it seemed an ideal time for me to tell you all about Colour Coordination by Stampin’ Up! If you were to ask people what they love about Stampin’ Up! craft supplies you would probably get two answers… 1. Quality (it really is outstanding) and 2. Colour Coordination. Only a crafter will understand the pain of trying to find different pinks to match, so what a joy that you can get it all in one place, in the colour of your choice! Who are the Tech 4 Stampers? We […]

Crafting with a pop of colour…

I love using different colours in my crafting, but it isn’t often that I choose a very neutral background and then do the main crafting with a pop of colour, but I think it really works here. I took my inspiration from Connie Collins, in a ‘Case The Designer’ Global Design Project #324. Why not check out all the submissions on their webpage. This the amazing new Flowering Rainboots stamp and die set, I just love those wellies and how you can have the flowers growing out from inside them. The main colour of this card is Smoky Slate, with […]

A very girly birthday card…

I made this girly birthday card for my niece’s birthday, I think it will be just perfect for her even though she isn’t a particularly girly girl. I was working on a project for my return to in person classes and this paper was out on my desk, just calling to be used. It is absolutely stunning, and from the new Expressions in Ink Designer Series Papers. These papers are absolutely gorgeous, and mimic an alcohol effect style, without the mess or the need to buy and learn how to use alcohol inks. And they have the most beautiful gold […]

How to use and store Gilding Flakes…

It’s been a couple of weeks since I blogged, so I wanted to quickly hop on and share with you how to use and store Gilding Flakes, or as they are now known in the Stampin’ Up! world, Gilded Leafing Embellishment. This brand new product is possibly my favourite from the new Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue, because they are just soooo pretty, and can be used in so many different ways with all of your existing stamps and dies. I made a series of three cards showcasing this gorgeous gold shiny stuff which I will be sharing more about […]
