After a little break from this amazing group of people I am back working with the Tech 4 Stampers Academy, and am so happy to be back with some fabulous ladies all working on developing our businesses under the leadership of Louise Sims, a master in all things technology! This months theme for the group hop is Sale-A-Bration, and once again I am sharing this brilliant stamp set Friendly Hello, it really is a favourite of mine right now.
You all know that I do love to colour in, and what better stamp set to use with its gorgeous flowers and this brilliant bird image… I wonder if you can tell which bird I have tried to make him look like? I was quite pleased with how it turned out. The colours I used were So Saffron and Balmy Blue… that must give you a clue??
The stamp set itself comes with some beautiful papers, which you can just see poking through the background die. Isn’t that a clever die, it cuts out all of the circles in one pass of the machine, and comes with both circles and rectangles!
I coloured the flowers in Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia, a winning colour combination in my opinion! I certainly will miss these two colours when they retire next year – fortunately I have a long time yet to play with them!
If you like the idea of being able to colour your stamped images like this, I will be running another Stampin’ Blends Colouring Course later this year, so you can learn all my tips, tricks and techniques.
Please do have a hop around the rest of the Tech 4 Stampers team’s sites, I am sure you will find lots of inspiration for your crafting and cardmaking.
Until next time, Happy Stamping xx
