Colour your Christmas any colour you like…

One of the things I love about crafting is that things don’t always have to be accurate – you can colour your Christmas any colour you like – I opted for Highland Heather and Smoky Slate here, using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and my trusty Stampin Blends. Those ornaments are simply stunning aren’t they, the design and the colour! I actually made these cards by accident… I was going to be trying the no-line watercolouring technique, but I forgot to take either my aqua-painter or my blender pen with me where I was going, so thought I would just use the watercolour pencils by themselves and see what it looked like – well, I think it looks just great, and you can get such definition and shading. Bird Ballad Frame

I want to share something with you today that I made some time ago now, almost as soon as the last annual catalogue came out I think. The Bird Ballad suite was one of my first purchases, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on every single item in the suite, they all just co-ordinate so beautifully together.
