Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, where I am sharing a gorgeous Autumn Birthday card using a really lovely colour fuse, Golden Glow, Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso. This is the first time I have used Golden Glow in such a big way, and it is PERFECT!
I have paired the old with the new for this card, because I like to show how we can use our stash, and the Coneflower stamp was the perfect addition to the card using the lovely papers from the Sunflower Fields DSP pack.
Golden Glow and Early Espresso make for a gorgeous pairing, so I opted for a dark card base, and mat for my rectangular die cut panel too, and I also stamped the coneflower in Early Espresso – I think when working with this kind of colour palette it makes a great alternative to black.
The coneflower itself is coloured in using the Stampin’ Blends in all three colours, and I have even added a little bit of Golden Glow Shimmer Pen to the petals – you can’t really see it in the photo but it just makes this Autumn Birthday Card glow a little bit more.
I wanted to carry this shine through into the sentiment too, so grabbed my hot foil machine, and the wonderful set Sweetly Sentimental, and hot foiled the whole lot in Gold, they made the perfect addition to this card, along with a little bit of gold ribbon (cut in half to make it thinner) some twine and a few Golden Glow gems.
