How to Make an Exploding Chocolate Gift Box…

Ooooh, I love an exploding box, and even better is an exploding chocolate gift box! This project is super quick and easy to make and will surprise and delight the recipient for sure. An unassuming box, when you lift the lid the sides fall away and you are left with a scrumptious Terry’s Chocolate Orange! All you need to make this gorgeous project is a sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock cut down to 26.1cm x 26.1cm and a piece of the same colour measuring 13.1cm x 13.1cm. Oh, and some designer series paper, but I am sure that we […]

How to Make an Easel Box Card…

I first made an easel box card long before I started blogging and sharing, possibly even before I joined Stampin’ Up! I designed the measurements so that the drawer would fit six Ferrero Rocher, and this little project makes a perfect gift or craft fair item, and can be filled with whatever else you can think of really, its a great size. The papers that I have used here are the Simply Elegant papers, I just thought that the gold and the black would pair beautifully with the gold and black wrappers of the sweets themselves, and I love the […]

Only problem is, we aren’t having a Summer holiday this year!! Lol. This will be ready and waiting for me when we do go away next though, and will hopefully inspire you to make an album of your own with your favourite papers. The Stamptastic friends are a lovely bunch of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who want to share their passion for all things crafty […]

Multicolour Stamping with Markers…

This Multicolour Stamping with Markers technique is an oldie but a goodie, it is such a nice way of taking a single stamp and stamping it in a whole variety of colours. I have used the Shaded Summer stamp set for this card, I just love the flowery images that are in the set, as well as all of those gorgeous sentiments! I actually made this card for the Global Design Project #292, I love taking part in challenges because it can really inspire the creative person inside. This week’s challenge was to CASE the designer, Susan Wong. What a […]

A very girly birthday card…

I made this girly birthday card for my niece’s birthday, I think it will be just perfect for her even though she isn’t a particularly girly girl. I was working on a project for my return to in person classes and this paper was out on my desk, just calling to be used. It is absolutely stunning, and from the new Expressions in Ink Designer Series Papers. These papers are absolutely gorgeous, and mimic an alcohol effect style, without the mess or the need to buy and learn how to use alcohol inks. And they have the most beautiful gold […]

Creating from a sketch challenge can be an incredible way to get your crafting ‘mojo’ going again if it is taking a little holiday for any reason. Just grab a stamp set or two and use the layout as inspiration for a design. You can stick to the sketch rigidly or use it more loosely, as I have done here today! The Casually Crafting Design Team have been busy this month creating loads of project ideas for you to hop through – how exciting! We are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrators who want to share our take on […]
