Hello and welcome to another Stamptastic Friends blog hop, where this month’s theme is ‘Something quick to make’, and I am so late making this project that it needed to be quick, so this quick table favour is just perfect!
The Stamptastic friends are a lovely bunch of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who want to share their passion for all things crafty with you, so do be sure to hop around using the links at the bottom of this post for more ideas and inspiration.
I just happened to have a chocolate lolly from Lidl which hasn’t been eaten yet (I know, shock horror!) so I created this super wrap to dress it up ready to give as a little gift (to myself I think!). The paper I used is the Whimsy and Wonder paper from Stampin’ Up! and I cut a piece to 16cm x 12 cm. Two score lines, on the short side, at 2cm and 6cm is all you need here.
Then simply wrap the lolly inside the wrap, glue the bottom closed and then glue one side to the other. Do make sure you have the lolly in there though, otherwise it might not fit in afterwards!
Do decorate, I cut some trees using the Christmas Trees die set, in Silver, Basic White and Basic Grey, then wrapped some silver twine tied with a bow and a little tag. The greeting stamp is actually from the ‘Friends Like Seashells’ stamp set!
And that really is it, I told you it was a quick table favour!! Now, do I eat it or make more? That’s the question, hehe. Please do have a hop around the rest of the posts and see what other quick projects we have on offer for you today!
Until next time, Happy Stamping! xx
