Make a Mini Stationery Set…

I had a fabulous time on my Facebook Live this morning demonstrating how to make a Mini Stationery Set, and I wanted to share the instructions here with you today. This is such a lovely little project, perfect for giving as a gift or for selling at craft fairs, which are starting up again now! These sets contain a notepad, a set of sticky notes and a pen, all presented in one of the Stampin’ Up! acetate card boxes. I used to sell these sets for about £5 in the craft fairs, but it depends on what your materials cost […]

How to make a handmade card and gift tag set…

I just wanted to hope on fairly quickly today to share with you how to make a handmade card and gift tag set. This project looks so elegant and stylish I think, which seems perfectly fitting because I have used the new (available May 4th) suite of products called Simply Elegant. With its neutral tones and metallic highlights the Designer Series Paper lends itself really well to 3D projects just like this one. I have actually recorded an accompanying video to show you how to make this project, because it is much easier to see how things are done sometimes! […]

How to make an Easter Treat Basket…

Easter is only a few days away now so I want to show you a really quick and fun project, how to make an Easter Treat Basket, to fill with goodies ready for your loved ones this Easter. I have used the super cute Springtime Joy stamp set from Stampin’ Up! It has the most adorable little creatures, including a sheep, a chick and a rabbit. These baskets have been around for a while, in fact I think I made them last year too, but it’s always good to revisit forgotten projects! I sized these baskets so that you could […]

How to scrapbook a single photo…

I wanted to make a gift for my Sister-in-Law recently, and decided to give her a piece of home-decor, so I set about thinking of how to scrapbook a single photo. When I scrapbook, I normally try to fit about three photos on a page, but here I wanted to showcase a beautiful photograph of her three girls, taken while they were out for a walk last year. It is so lovely to see them all smiling and laughing together. I started by choosing a colour scheme, and I knew I wanted greens to tie in the photograph and a […]

This project was started on a recent Facebook Live, but here it is in all it’s glory, I hope you like it. I must admit these papers and colours are my absolute favourite from the Aug-Dec Mini catalogue this year, and the Balmy Blue glimmer paper, well I have just ordered another two packs of that! If you would like to see how I made the hanging frame, […]

Exploding Candle Box…

I absolutely love making these – the gorgeous exploding candle box. It is a design that I came up with a few years ago when I was making things to sell at the local craft fairs. I sourced some fairly inexpensive candles and really jazzed them up – they proved very popular so I thought I would share the design with you here today. My candles are approximately 2 3/4″ diameter at the widest part and 3 1/4″ high. I wanted to use the Forever Greenery Designer series paper becuase I find green a very calming colour, just perfect for […]
