Feathered Fun – Color Fusers Blog Hop – June ’25…

Oh I love this month’s colour challenge, and as soon as I saw it my mind went straight to a fab new stamp set called Feathered Fun – I have popped a picture of it below for you to see the whole set. I love a bit of colouring with my Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers and my favourite colours are pinks and purples, so this stamp set and colour choice is perfect for me! I may have actually cheated a teeny tiny bit on this challenge (shhh, don’t tell anyone!!) because I have used Secret Sea as my base colour, […]

Beautiful Butterflies – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Apr ’25

We are really into Spring here in the UK and these colours are just perfect for the weather that we have been having, so sunny and warm, just the weather for some beautiful butterflies too. I chose to work with the aptly named bundle from Stampin’ Up! this month, I just love how the stamps, dies and embossing folder all co-ordinate together. Because the embossing folder is a 6″ x 6″ one, I opted for a large card, using a pre-made 7″ x 7″ card base and envelope. You could make your own, but I had some on hand, so […]

How to make a simple and stylish card…

Sometimes, you need a simple and stylish card, and one that doesn’t take forever to make, especially when you just want to reach out to a friend to tell them you are thinking about them. The Forever Fern stamp set is a perfect set for this type of make, because the images are so beautiful that you really don’t need all the layers and embellishments. I wanted to play along with the Global Design Project GDP#333 this month, but when I saw the colours I must admit my heart sank a little! I am not really into greens, but when […]

Make a quick and easy handmade card – Casually Crafting Blog Hop Feb ’21…

My hand was forced for this post after I realised I had made a fun fold card instead of a colour challenge card for the hop, so it has turned into a ‘quick and easy handmade card’ instead! This only took me 15 minutes to make, and that was including the design time, so this one would be great for when you need a card in a hurry. The colours for this month’s colour challenge are Rich Razzleberry, Fresh Freesia and Old Olive, a beautiful combination and perfect for flowers, which is great for me as I have been wanting […]
