With the launch of the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue just around the corner, we had to choose our new 2025 – 2027 In Colors as our inspiration for this month’s hop.
I am really excited to see all of the ways that these new colours have been used by the team today, so please do have a hop around using the links at the bottom of this page to see what everyone has created.
I decided to have a go at watercolouring with the new 2025 – 2027 In Colors, to see what they looked like when used in this way. I must say I was really pleased with how the flowers came out, and Secret Sea watered right down is just such a beautiful colour!
I have been using the Layers of Beauty set quite a lot recently, and I just happened to reach for it again this week as I was looking for a gorgeous flower stamp to complement the colours I was working with. I love the detailed line art and the large image here. I stamped it in Versamark and heat set with White embossing powder, then set to work watercolouring.
I found some Secret Sea Designer Series Paper in one of our new paper collections and used that for the main background layer of my card, then added a panel behind the flower which I made by blending on some Secret Sea ink to a piece of Basic White cardstock, before flicking with some waterered down ink.
I had a lot of fun playing with these colours for this card, and hope that you enjoy playing with the 2025 – 2027 In Colors as much as I did!

Thankful Garden Online Class
Calling all card makers, the return of my online classes is here and I am excited for this one! Come and learn how to make six gorgeous projects, three of which are fun folds, using the new Thankful Garden bundle from Stampin’ Up!
The class is £20 for four hours of fun on 11th May, on zoom, from 10 am until 2pm (everything is recorded and available for view after), with full written instructions provided ahead of time.
