Stampin’ Up! 2025 – 2027 In Colors – Color Fusers Blog Hop – May ’25

With the launch of the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue just around the corner, we had to choose our new 2025 – 2027 In Colors as our inspiration for this month’s hop. I am really excited to see all of the ways that these new colours have been used by the team today, so please do have a hop around using the links at the bottom of this page to see what everyone has created. I decided to have a go at watercolouring with the new 2025 – 2027 In Colors, to see what they looked like when used in […]

Beautiful Butterflies – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Apr ’25

We are really into Spring here in the UK and these colours are just perfect for the weather that we have been having, so sunny and warm, just the weather for some beautiful butterflies too. I chose to work with the aptly named bundle from Stampin’ Up! this month, I just love how the stamps, dies and embossing folder all co-ordinate together. Because the embossing folder is a 6″ x 6″ one, I opted for a large card, using a pre-made 7″ x 7″ card base and envelope. You could make your own, but I had some on hand, so […]

Thankful Garden – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Mar ’25

Now this is a colour palette that is right up my street, it’s fresh, vibrant and looks great with the new Thankful Garden bundle from Stampin’ Up! This bundle comes with a fantastic set of masks which means adding colour to it is SO simple and quick. Welcome to this month’s Color Fusers blog hop – I think it’s going to be a good one! Because these colours are so vibrant I decided to pair the images with some black and white, the papers are from the suite that this bundle belongs to – one side of the papers are […]

Hello and welcome back to the first Color Fusers Blog hop of 2025, where this month I am working with the incredible Friendly Seagulls stamp set – available for FREE with a £55 during Sale-A-Bration (from 7th Jan to 28th Feb 2025). I think this is going to be one of the most popular stamp sets on offer! As soon as I saw this colour scheme I just kept thinking Winter and Christmas, but I am so ready to be crafting with some more summery themes so I decided to pull out this new stamp set Friendly Seagulls. The Balmy […]

Winterly Treetops – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Dec 2024

When I first saw this colour challenge, I thought I was going to struggle, but as soon as I saw the Winterly Treetops stamp set I knew that was going to be the one for this challenge. The birds look brilliant coloured in Misty Moonlight I think, especially with the colour lifter on their bellies and heads. I absolutely love colouring with my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, and those are exactly what I reached for to colour these gorgeous images from the Winterly Treetops stamp set. I love how clean and clear the images stamped in Memento Black Ink and […]

Country Birdhouse – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Oct 2024…

Now, this project might not be what you are expecting when you see the colour combination that the Color Fusers are working with this month, it really wasn’t my favourite (that is a huge understatement) but I brought in the trusty Country Birdhouse bundle, added some flowers and made it my own. If you read on I’ll share how I got such light and delicate colours, and also how I managed to create a mix of browns and greys from just three colours. It’s all down to the beauty of colour mixing! I am not a fan of Wild Wheat […]

Colours of Autumn – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Sep 2024…

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, and this hop, where this month we are featuring some lovely colours of autumn. This is not one of my favoured colour palettes but I must say I was pleased with the result in the end! As soon as I saw the browns and yellows here I immediately thought of leaves, the range of amazing colours that we get through Autumn (or Fall) always delights me, so what better set to work with than the lovely Spotlight on Nature. The Color Fusers Blog Hop Team come from all over the world, […]

Spotlight on Nature – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Aug 2024…

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers blog hop where we have got a really fresh colour scheme for you – some of my favourite colours in this one, and they pair so well together. I finally managed to get my hands on the Spotlight on Nature stamp set last week, so I had to use it for this project. The Color Fusers are a global group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who come to your computers once a month with a colour challenge – and some are more challenging than others. This one was a lovely one for me […]

Colour challenge – Color Fusers Blog Hop – Jul 2024…

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog hop where we are working with a really interesting colour challenge, and one I actually struggled with. There was too much choice for me, to choose just one colour out of the amazing range of 50 colours that Stampin’ Up! has on offer, and then just pair it with white and black! Oh man, this was tough! I was playing with the wonderful Layers of Beauty bundle when I realised that if I made good use of my Colour Lifter I could end up with some beautiful grey leaves just by […]
