Friendly Seagulls – Color Fusers Blog Hop Jan ’25…

Hello and welcome back to the first Color Fusers Blog hop of 2025, where this month I am working with the incredible Friendly Seagulls stamp set – available for FREE with a £55 during Sale-A-Bration (from 7th Jan to 28th Feb 2025). I think this is going to be one of the most popular stamp sets on offer!

As soon as I saw this colour scheme I just kept thinking Winter and Christmas, but I am so ready to be crafting with some more summery themes so I decided to pull out this new stamp set Friendly Seagulls. The Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel just reminded me of the sea and the sky on a hot summers day!

A handmade card with three seagulls from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set on an ink blended blue background with the words 'hey friend, I love you more than chips'.

To make the background for the seagulls I sponged the ink in an ombre effect onto a piece of white card measuring 7.5cm x 10cm. I then flicked some water over the piece to create those super fun patterns before stamping some birds onto the top half. This is layered onto some Blueberry Bushel card measuring 10cm x 8cm.

The birds from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set are stamped in Memento and coloured in with Smoky Slate for the wings and Ivory for the beak and feet. All that was left was to stamp my chosen sentiment layered above and below the panel and stick this onto a coloured card base.

Thank you for stopping by, and until next time, Happy Stamping xx
