How to make an Accordion File style Gift Bag – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop May ’22…

The theme for this month’s blog hop is ‘friendship’, and what better way to celebrate friendship than to gift someone this cut accordion file style gift bag, filled with goodies and treats, a handmade card and maybe even a note to show them how much they mean to you. To make this accordion style gift bag you will need to choose two colours of co-ordinating cardstock. I chose Basic White and Melon Mambo for mine. Take one of those sheets cut two pieces measuring 9cm x 18cm out of it, then score each of them every 1 1/2 cm. Fold […]

Hello again my crafty friends, this month’s theme for the Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop is ‘Sweet Treats’, so I am sharing with you today how to make an Easter Treat – perfect to fit a small filled chocolate egg treat (you know the one’s I mean!!) Tech 4 Stampers is a wonderful group run by the fabulous Louise Sims, who enables fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators to build their own websites and learn about all things tech related – I personally would be lost without her support and guidance! I started making my Easter Treat by taking a piece of […]

How to make a Wrapped Chocolate Gift…

I am getting ready for a fantabulous craft fair that I have coming up in March, and I thought you might like to see how I made this lovely wrapped chocolate gift by taking a simple (yet very tasty!) bar of chocolate and decorating it up. I used the gold theme of the chocolate bar and chose some of my beautiful retired papers that I couldn’t quite part with – I just love how decadent the Blackberry Bliss looks against the gold. The Designer Series Paper is 6″ x 9″ and the Gold Foil Mat is 10.5cm x 6cm. The […]

How to Make a Paper Rosette…

I wanted to make something a little bit different this week, so I am here to tell you how to make a paper rosette – they really are much easier than you think and can be used as cake toppers, pencil toppers or just lovely decorations. I made this paper rosette using some of the new Supple Shimmer 12″ x 12″ Speciality Paper, it’s sooooo pretty!! All you need to do is cut two lengths of 12″ x 1.5″ and then score each of these at 1/2″ intervals. Fold them concertina style and then glue them both together, at each […]

I am back with another video post for my series of small gifts, perfect for craft fairs, stocking fillers or, like this one, just a simple handmade thank you gift. This project is really quick and easy to put together and can be decorated however you like. I have used the Pansy Patch suite of products from Stampin’ Up! here, with papers, stamps and dies. The box itself is really easy to make, all you need is two pieces of coloured cardstock (I used Fresh Freesia) measuring 6.5cm x 17.2cm and one piece of patterned paper measuring 3.3cm x 14cm. […]

All you need to make this gorgeous project is a sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock cut down to 26.1cm x 26.1cm and a piece of the same colour measuring 13.1cm x 13.1cm. How to Make an Easel Box Card…

I first made an easel box card long before I started blogging and sharing, possibly even before I joined Stampin’ Up! I designed the measurements so that the drawer would fit six Ferrero Rocher, and this little project makes a perfect gift or craft fair item, and can be filled with whatever else you can think of really, its a great size. The papers that I have used here are the Simply Elegant papers, I just thought that the gold and the black would pair beautifully with the gold and black wrappers of the sweets themselves, and I love the […]

How to Make a Simple Stocking Filler…

I LOVE making quick and easy 3D projects, and there is not much that is quicker and easier than this simple stocking filler. All you need is a scrap of card, paper and twine, and half an acetate card box from Stampin’ Up! These come in packs of 10, so you could make 20 of these out of one pack! To start with, cut your acetate card box in half. I used my big Carl Cutter to cut mine with. Then all you need to do is take a piece of cardstock measuring 15.1cm x 5.1cm and score it on […]
