How to use Designer Series Paper…

Oh my goodness how beautiful is this Paper!! I always love the Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! but this one is just stunning isn’t it? I wanted to share a project today showing how to use Designer Series Paper in our cardmaking, because we are all guilty of hoarding it not using it! Gorgeous paper like this deserves to be shown off! I have used the brand new, not even launched yet, Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delightful DSP. I was inspired by a card made by my dear friend Rosie Minors, I loved how she has showcased […]

Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit…

As is so often the case I am a little late to the party here, but I can safely say that I am LOVING working with the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit. If you don’t already have this in your Christmas loving hands I seriously recommend that you get it while stocks still last – I don’t think it will be long before this sells out. I happened to have the kit on my desk when I stumbled across this weeks Global Design Project challenge, #GDP268. The link to the page is at the bottom of this post, […]

Make a card for any occasion…

Hello and welcome stampers, I want to share a card with you today using some new products from the Stampin’ Up! Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue, in particular a stamp set and die combo which are just perfect for helping me make a card, for any occasion! One of my goals for the new Stampin’ Up! year (which started in October!) is to take part in more blog hops and challenges, so here is my first, using a layout from the Global Design Project #GDP266. The idea is that you take the sketch, theme, colour combination etc that is given, […]

Colour your Christmas any colour you like…

One of the things I love about crafting is that things don’t always have to be accurate – you can colour your Christmas any colour you like – I opted for Highland Heather and Smoky Slate here, using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and my trusty Stampin Blends. Those ornaments are simply stunning aren’t they, the design and the colour! I actually used my Highland Heather and my Purple Posy Blends, because it meant I could really give it a 3D effect as the colour got light to the middle. The colour lifter really helps to fade it into white […]

Zany Zebras do Christmas…

I absolutely adore these cute little zebras playing in the snow, in this card which I have dubbed ‘Zany Zebras do Christmas’. It is easy peasy to make, and I will show you how in the video below… I made the card several weeks ago, after a flash of inspiration one day and it has been so popular that I decided to re-make it during one of my recent Facebook Live videos. Quick and Easy Christmas Cards…

I knew I was going to love the Freezin’ Fun bundle from Stampin’ Up! as soon as I saw it in the new catalogue and I love it even more now I know it makes the most fabulous quick and easy Christmas cards. I have teamed it up with the GORGEOUS snowflake splendor Designer Series Paper here and these cards really did come together like a dream. These cute little critters are a delight to colour in, with whatever colouring tools you have to hand, but I took out my Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers and got to work. Such a […]
