Faux Bleach Technique – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop July ’22…

Welcome to the Creativity Abounds Blog Hop for our Hues of Happiness Stamp Camp where today I am sharing this faux bleach technique birthday card. This is such a fun technique to try out and I am showcasing how to do it over in the Stamp Camp Facebook Group, so if you have purchased the Hues of Happiness suite from me, head over to the group this weekend to see all the details of how I made this card.

I must admit the Hues of Happiness suite is absolutely stunning, and I am sure that you are going to see lots of inspiration on this blog hop, by some very talented demonstrators from around the world. Just head to the bottom of the post here to find the links to have a hop around.

a flowery card in purple, pink and teal, with a faux bleach technique background and a focal point of a watercoloured flower.

There is watercolouring, blending and the all important faux bleach technique going on in this card. I think it might be termed a WOW card myself! The colours are Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape and Coastal Cabana, a gorgeous pairing, especially when teamed with a hint of Basic Grey. The cardstock I have used is Fluid 100 Watercolour card.

You could have so much fun with this faux bleach technique, and make some lovely backgrounds. How about a bookmark or gift tag too. And I reckon it would look amazing with all of the blues that we have on offer as well.
