What is Stamping Off? – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop Mar ’23…

The Creativity Abounds crew are focusing on the amazing Fancy Flora suite this month and I wanted to show you how to make this Two-Tone Flora card, focusing on answering that common question, what is stamping off? In short, it is a really super technique which will give you so many more options with your ink pads. I must say I absolutely love the Two-Tone Flora stamp set and love how easy it is to get real dimensional looking flowers using just one colour of ink, by ‘stamping off’. You absolutely can use these stamps with different coloured inks, too, […]

How to make a simple handmade thank you gift…

I am back with another video post for my series of small gifts, perfect for craft fairs, stocking fillers or, like this one, just a simple handmade thank you gift. Please do have a good look around and see all the techniques, tricks and tips that we have got in store for you today. Three cards from one layout…

This post started with one card, and all of a sudden it developed to three cards from one layout. I just changed things up ever so slightly each time and ended up with three fabulous cards quickly and simply. I actually CASE’d myself in the first instance too, as I had made a card with the same layout earlier in the year, just using a different stamp set. Sometimes we don’t need to go crazy and ‘redesign the wheel’ as they say, when something works just go with it! I have used the upcoming Hand Penned stamp set for these […]
