How to make my easy table favours – Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop – Dec ’23…

Hey everyone, the Stamptastic Friends are blog hopping again and this month we are talking gift wrapping, so I have got a tutorial for how to make my easy table favours, perfect for those small gifts or for adorning the Christmas table.

I love making little 3D projects like this easy table favour, and this one is so quick and easy to make you will have no problems doing multiples for your friends and family. They make lovely little thank you gifts for those Christmas parties that might be happening this week too.

All you need are two small pieces of cardstock, one measuring 10.5cm x 10.5cm (so you can get 4 out of a piece of A4 card) and one measuring 21cm x 4.6cm

Two pieces of red cardstock, one long and thin and one square, all you need to make my easy table favours.

Score the square piece on all four sides at 3cm and score the longer piece at 8.7cm from either end. Then use your retired tag topper punch to punch a tag topper in both ends of the longer piece. Make sure you get it central because the piece is not a standard measurement.

Fold and burnish all of the score lines on both pieces and then turn the square piece into a box base by cutting and notching the flaps and sticking with glue. Then all you need to do is glue the box into the outer cover, fill and decorate!

A picture of my easy table favours tutorial, made in red card, with a length of ribbon securing the top and the words HAPPY CHRISTMAS on the front.

To decorate, I used some foiled DSP measuring 6.5cm x 4.1cm and corner rounded the corners to make it look a little neater. I stamped a holly leaf from the retiring Christmas Classics stamp set and the greeting from the Merry and Bright stamp set in Cherry Cobbler to match the cardstock.

This is all layered onto a 1 3/4″ punched circle just to make it stand out a bit, and I added a gold sequin and some ribbon to the top to tie it all together. And there you have my easy table favours tutorials!

I’m intrigued to see who else has joined the hop this month and what their projects are – use the links below to check them out. Until next time, Happy Stamping xx
