Hello and welcome to the Creativity Abounds Blog Hop, where we are focussing on Birthdays this month, I couldn’t help but fussy cut some of the birds from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Flight and Airy DSP for this pretty card.

The Designer Series Papers that I am using today will be available to earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration from the 4th Jan until the 29th Feb, when you spend over £45. They are just delightful and I know you will want to get your hands on them!
The base of my card is a standard size card base (14.5cm x 21cm scored in half at 10.5cm) and is the gorgeous colour Boho Blue. I have then added a layer of Lemon Lolly DSP from the Lighter than Air paper pack – I love this one with the stripes!
The measurements for the smaller Boho Blue layer are 12.5cm x 8.5cm and the layer of white is 12cm x 8cm. The sentiment from the Notes of Nature stamp set and is stamped at the bottom, again in Boho Blue
To make the focal point of this card, first I splattered some Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends onto the white piece of card, and then I fussy cut two of the bird designed from the Flight and Airy DSP. I also cut two leaf sprigs from the amazing Stipple Roses dies and then just set about layering all of these together on the card front.
This card has just been finished off with a couple of coordinating gems, I didn’t think it needed anything else because those birds really are just so pretty!
