My Artisan Design Team group were tasked to create with the Marigold Moments stamp set for our April monthly posts, and the team did an amazing job of showcasing the versatility of this stamp set. I was blown away with some of the projects that had been created! I opted for a very traditional colour scheme, with oranges and yellows, and added in a touch of gold, too.
I actually had some gold foil wrapped chocolates left over from another project, and decided to make some treat packaging using the lovely press seal bags, to go with my card. I love making bookmarks and tags, and it is nice to have a project to be able to use them with! The tag itself is made using the Tailor Made Tag dies (love these!)
My other favourite thing about this project (other than the Marigold Moments bundle obviously) is the gorgeous Gold and Vanilla Satin Edged ribbon. It is STUNNING and goes with so many projects. I used it to secure the tag to the treat pouch and also as a decoration on the card, paired with some gold twine.
The flower on the tag is die cut and sponges, as are the leaves, and I added a foil die cut over the top, too, to really make it pop. A Strip of DSP and a cute sentiment is all that is needed here I think.
The card base is Daffodil Delight, with a Basic White mat and a large strip of DSP, from the Enjoy the Adventure pack I believe! The Marigolds are two step stamped, using both Daffodil Delight and the retiring Mango Melody, but you could get away with Pumpkin Pie or even Crushed Curry really! The leaves are die cut and sponged with Soft Sea Foam to give a soft and gentle feel, and I LOVE that sentiment, You Have a Heart of Gold!

Watercolour Cardmaking Course
Bookings are now open for my new Watercolour Cardmaking Course, starting on Saturday 10th June 2023, with four zoom classes running over several months (to give you plenty of time to practice in between). All of the classes are recorded into a Private Facebook Group too, so you can watch and rewatch as many times as you like. The course also includes a comprehensive written course guide, with accompanying worksheets.
