A Tri-Fold Panel Card with green leaves and showing a seed growing into a tree, using the Growth Takes Time stamp set from Stampin' Up!

I fell in love with this ‘Growth Takes Time’ stamp set as soon as I saw it, and thought it would make the perfect Tri-Fold Panel Card, showing the growth over time. I actually really love the sentiments too, and thought they are great for cheering someone on, for whatever reason.

The Growth Takes Time stamp set from Stampin' Up! with the life-cycle of a tree, and words of encouragement and support.

The main Tri-Fold Panel is made from a piece of Basic White Cardstock measuring 19.5cm x 8.5cm and this is scored on the long side at 6.5cm and 18.5cm. I folded it concertina style and then stamped the images shown on it, on each panel, in Memento Black Ink, before colouring in with my Stampin’ Blends.

This panel is then layered onto a piece of Old Olive cardstock measuring 9cm x 7cm and then, once I had tied the twine around, stuck onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock measuring 9.5cm x 7.5cm. The main card is made from Thick Basic White card measuring 14.5cm x 21cm, scored in half at 10.5cm and the mat of Basic White cardstock is 14cm x 10cm.

I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss near the top of the white mat, then stamped the loose leaves from the stamp set all around the edges, in Old Olive, before sponging lightly with some of the same colour ink, just to ground everything really. The centre Tri-Fold Panel element was then stuck onto the card to finish.
