Inky Embossing Folder Technique – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop Dec’ 22…

I think I am a little bit obsessed with this inky embossing folder technique at the moment, but it is such a good one I can’t help but share it with you today. I have used the upcoming Queen Bee stamp set for this card, available to customers from the 5th January 2023 in the new Jan – Apr Mini Catalogue. I love the Tech 4 Stampers Academy, run by Louise Sims, our tech guru. Without her support I would not have this website and I would not be able to share my creations with you all in this way, […]

Watercolour Emboss Resist Technique…

I made these two cards using the watercolour emboss resist technique during my recent YouTube live video (8pm UK time on a Thursday if you ever want to join us!) and thought it would be nice to share them here, too, on my blog. This is such a lovely technique, which gives a really subtle but effective background, and works beautifully with the upcoming Dainty Delight bundle and Dainty Flowers DSP available in the new Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue and out for sale to customers on the 5th Jan 2023. The colours I used here are Pear Pizzazz, So […]

How to make a giant cracker….

I love the Cracker and Treat Box dies from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and while the standard version is cute, it is a little small for a ‘proper’ gift, so I want to show you all how to make a giant cracker using exactly the same die set, some card and some paper. It’s much easier than you might think, and turned out a great size! All you need to do is cut four of the dies from the same colour cardstock and then watch my video for how to cut them down and pop them together. It doesn’t […]

How to make an Accordion Fold card…

I was lucky enough to receive lots of fabulous swaps while I was away in Vienna, but one caught my eye as soon as I saw it, because it’s such a fab fun fold card, so I am here today to show you how to make an Accordion Fold card using the upcoming By the Bay suite of products, available for customers to purchase from the 4th Jan 2023. I actually showed how to make the base of this card over on my YouTube live video this week, but what with also showing the new products that I had ordered […]

Make your own Christmas Cards – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop November ’22

One of my favourite things about cardmaking is being able to make your own Christmas Cards, in whatever colours and styles that you most like (or your recipient will most like!) and so when this month’s theme was “Wonderful Winter” I knew I just wanted to share a card that anyone could make. I feel really lucky to be a part of the Tech 4 Stampers Academy, such a lovely group of people all learning and developing our Stampin’ Up! business using the dark art of technology – all guided by the expert hand of tech guru Louise Sims. Make a centre step card for Christmas…

Over on my YouTube channel this week I demonstrated how to make a centre step card for Christmas, using the gorgeous Boughs of Holly suite of products. I actually made this as a challenge card for the recent Stamp Camp that I took part in, a Tic Tac Toe challenge, and I chose Fancy Fold, Embossing and Foil as my three elements. The tutorial for how to make this centre step card is over on my YouTube Channel, just hit the picture below to head straight there, but because the measurements are a little tricky I have added them here, […]

How to make a card in a box…

I wanted to share something a little different on this week’s YouTube live video, and I opted to show you guys how to make a card in a box, with chocolates, of course! The perfect little Christmas gift for when you’ve been invited for a party, or for those last minute meetings between friends. I used the gorgeous Lights Aglow papers for this project, and paired them with the Christmas Seasons and Merriest Moments stamp sets – I just love how these two work together. The instructions to make this project are all over on my YouTube Channel, just hit […]
