Easy Easter Card – Trip Achievers Blog Hop Feb’ 2024…

Hello and welcome to today’s Trip Achiever’s Blog Hop, where today I have made an easy Easter card using one of my favourite sets from Stampin’ Up! I don’t know about you, but we treat Easter a lot like Christmas, with the whole family gathering for a meal and board games, so cards and treats are always needed.

I am so delighted to be able to take part in these blog hops this year, with a wonderful group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that earned the Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip for the 2022/23 Stampin’ Up! year.

Only about 1% of all the Demonstrators earn this trip every year and in April, we will be going to Mexico and staying 5 nights at the Hotel Xcaret México.  This is going to be an amazing trip and I am so grateful for my team and the support of my customers to allow this to happen for me, thank you!

I actually designed this easy Easter card for my Cuppa and Card class this month, and thought the relatively simple design would be good to share as we get a bit closer to the day and time starts to run out. This card also doesn’t use much of the paper, so you can get lots made and sent to share the love.

The card base is Lemon Lolly, and is a standard size – for me that is 14.5cm x 21cm, scored in half at 10.5cm. The white layer then is again a standard size, 10cm x 14cm, and I have used a small piece of the Lighter than Air DSP, measuring 10cm x 5cm.

I covered the join between the DSP and the white card with a length of Lemon Lolly ribbon, I love the silver stitching in this one. I then die cut a 7cm Deckled Circle die in white card and two of the circle wreaths from the Forever Love dies. I overlapped these so that leaves were showing all the way round and then added them to the white circle.

The bunny and the eggs are stamped in Memento black ink and coloured in using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, in Crumb Cake, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia. So pretty! These are all fussy cut and then added to the easy Easter card along with a sentiment, some white twine and a few gorgeous purple sparkly gems.

I am so excited to see what the rest of the Trip Achievers have in store for you this month, so please do have a hop around and check out all of their amazing projects! All you need to do is click on the links below and have some crafty fun with us.

Until next time, Happy Stamping!!
