I am getting ready for a fantabulous craft fair that I have coming up in March, and I thought you might like to see how I made this lovely wrapped chocolate gift by taking a simple (yet very tasty!) bar of chocolate and decorating it up. I used the gold theme of the chocolate bar and chose some of my beautiful retired papers that I couldn’t quite part with – I just love how decadent the Blackberry Bliss looks against the gold.
The Designer Series Paper is 6″ x 9″ and the Gold Foil Mat is 10.5cm x 6cm. The Blackberry Bliss cardstock is 10cm x 5.5cm. The strip of DSP that you can see is 1.3cm x 5.5cm.
I made a short video to show you exactly how I made this, so why not click on the picture below and have a watch over on my YouTube channel – you could even subscribe while you are there, if you like what you see!
To decorate this wrapped chocolate gift I used some retired papers because I just LOVED how sumptuous they looked. I embellished this with some gold foil, some gold twine, a sentiment and some of my favourite Gilded Gems – basically it’s just a gold overload, but I hope you agree that they look really pretty.
I mention in the video another one of these that I made for a friend of mine, using the amazing Friendly Hello stamp set and papers, available now as a Sale-A-Bration item! I absolutely adore this cute little bird, and love how he can be coloured in a lot of different ways!
This one was made for a dear friend of mine for her birthday, and interestingly enough, it fitted into one of the Stampin’ Up! acetate card boxes, with a card, perfect for me to pop in the post!
I hope you have enjoyed seeing how to make a wrapped chocolate bar, it really is such a quick and easy project.
Until next time, Happy Stamping! xx
