How to Make a Simple Stocking Filler…

I LOVE making quick and easy 3D projects, and there is not much that is quicker and easier than this simple stocking filler. All you need is a scrap of card, paper and twine, and half an acetate card box from Stampin’ Up! These come in packs of 10, so you could make 20 of these out of one pack!

A super simple stocking filler idea, handmade using products from Stampin' Up! and filled with chocolate santas.

To start with, cut your acetate card box in half. I used my big Carl Cutter to cut mine with. Then all you need to do is take a piece of cardstock measuring 15.1cm x 5.1cm and score it on all four sides at 1.7cm. The cut and notch all four tabs (watch the video below to see how I did this) to make a lid for the box.

The piece of Designer Series Paper is 1.4cm x 11.4cm and the tag is from the Pretty Pillowbox dies. How simple is that!!

My chocolate Santas are from Lidl, and they come with 20 in a pack, so the perfect number to make two of these lovely gifts. I think these will be my small dinner gifts for my partner’s family when we see them after Christmas. The girls always enjoy having a chocolate treat that they are allowed to eat a couple of before dinner – only at Christmas though mind!
