Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where appropriately for after Christmas we are focussing on the theme of giving thanks. I was really behind this year, and didn’t send any Christmas cards at all, so decided to send thank you cards in January instead!
I treated myself to the 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar this year, and used the products I got to make this Monochrome Thank You Card, I just love how blue and white work together, without needing any other colours!
The papers in the advent calendar are absolutely gorgeous, and there are a few Memories and More cards too, so I used both of these to make my backgrounds, and then used the stamps and dies to make the focal point. The colour is Misty Moonlight.
The leaf and flower dies are so cute, and intricate, making them great for layering behind the flowers, which also have dies – wahhoooo!! A few heart shaped clear gems, a pre cut die cut gold foiled piece and a ribbon bow (also all from the calendar) finish off this piece nicely, with just the sentiment left to add.
I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight before fussy cutting it and adding with dimensionals, just to add the final touch. I can’t wait to get this one in the post and on its way to say thank you to someone special for the lovely Christmas card I received.
