Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, and I’ve created a sweet treat box for you today, using a really summery combo that I will be honest and say I struggled with – this is my second attempt at a project to inspire you, and I hope that you like it.
I received a similar project to this as a swap at On Stage! in Cologne this year, and resized it so that I could get two out of a single sheet of A4 cardstock. I’ve also made them as little gifts for my class ladies, and am making them as swaps for an upcoming trip, too, so certainly getting lots of use out this design!
I used the Lovely Arrangements stamp set to decorate this project with, but you can honestly use any papers, stamps and dies – I have used lots of different designs for all the projects mentioned above.
To create this project, start with a piece of coloured cardstock measuring 14.5cm x 21cm. Score it on the long side at 3cm, 9cm, 12cm and 18cm. Turn it around and score on the short side at 1cm, 4cm, 10.5cm and 13.5cm, then cut and score as shown in the template below.
Tip – make a mark at 1.5cm on each of the squares with the triangle score marks, then use a ruler and scoring tool to make the score lines.
