The Stamptastic Friends have got a simple sketch challenge for you today, and I really enjoyed making this card using the Joy of Noel and Christmas Classics bundles from Stampin’ Up!
I was at an all day retreat yesterday using these two sets and I was so inspired to continue to create when I got home. The two stamp sets co-ordinate beautifully together and look so pretty paired with the wintry colours of Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Blueberry Bushel.

The white background here is embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder to give a subtle effect but yet keeping the card design simple and clean looking. The card base colour is Pool Party – such a beautiful colour.
I stamped one of the larger foliage image and then coloured it in with my trusty Stampin’ Blends in Blueberry Bushel, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party, then stamped the smaller holly leaves stamp and coloured this in with Pool Party Blends.
To complement the stamped images I cut out two of the sprigs from Silver Foil (how well does silver go with Pool Party!!) and then layered all of these onto a Pool Party circle die cut using the ever popular Stylish Shapes dies.
On the back of the circle I added a length of sheer silver and white ribbon before layering this whole element onto the card front with dimensionals. All it needed to finish was a sentiment (stamped in Blueberry Bushel) and a few basic rhinestones. This card was so quick to put together that I think I might make it one of my batch made Christmas cards this year!

Christmas Crafting Special
