We are in that amazing month of the year where there are some real bargains to be had on the Stampin’ Up! website and I am here today to showcase a brilliant reduced price stamp set – So Much Love, on offer (while stocks last) from £19 down to £11.40. The item code is 152667, to save you searching for it!
The Stamptastic friends are a lovely bunch of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who want to share their passion for all things crafty with you, and we are here today with a theme of ‘retired product or new Annual catalogue’, so you can be sure to find a pretty eclectic mix when you are hopping around.
Now, I am a sucker for colouring in, so this was definitely one of my favourite stamp sets from the soon to be disappearing annual catalogue and I will be very sorry to see it go. Why not grab yourself a bargain and get colouring!
I stamped this image in Memento onto Sahara Sand cardstock. The Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers colour surprisingly well onto coloured cardstock, and it gives a very different look to the card than being on Very Vanilla or Whisper White. I have used Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green blends.
To add some dimension to the card, I actually stamped and coloured two of the flower clusters, cutting the centre flower out of one of them, shaping it and adding it on top of the base one. I added some Faux Suede Trim and some linen thread, with a sentiment and then layered all of this onto a Melon Mambo panel.
The base card is also Melon Mambo with a Sahara Sand layer. To create a background I stamped the smaller flower image in Sahara sand all over the background. I love how you can use the same large stamps for making backgrounds of focal points, and with the sentiments included in the set, it is a great all rounder.
Reduced Price Stamp Set – So Much Love – £11.40 (152667)
If you would like to learn more about colouring with Alcohol Markers, I am running another Stampin’ Blends course later this year, where we cover so many techniques, from basic blending and shading, to colouring on dark cardstock, colour theory, skin tones and many, many techniques and tips.
I finished the card off with some Elegant Faceted Gems which almost look like rain drops or dew drops – so pretty!
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing what I made with the So Much Love stamp set, and wish you an enjoyable hop. Please do come back to purchase any of the products that you have seen today by clicking on the product links below, or register interest in my Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Marker Course coming again later this year.
Until next time, Happy Stamping xx

I will be running another Stampin’ Blends Course, starting in September 2021, where, amongst many other things, I will teach the no-line colouring technique, how to add lowlights with greys, using pencils and markers together, creating skin tones and many other techniques too.
The course is still available for £60 as an online version only, with four zoom lessons, a dedicated Facebook group, a comprehensive course guide and several bonus lessons too.
