Coloured Florals – Color Fusers Blog Hop – December ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, with a slightly unusual (I think anyway!) colour combination, which just called for some coloured florals. This month we are playing with Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush – the pop of colour here against the really neutral colours looks fantastic in my opinion. I decided to play with some new products that will be coming out in January, the Fragrant Layers stamp set, but you can absolutely make this same card with any open flower and leaf stamps that you have – it will work perfectly with so […]

How to make a centre step card – Be Inspired Blog Hop Nov ’25…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where our theme this month is Feeling Festive, and I am going to show you how to make a centre step card – the best bit is that you get to choose how to decorate it! I have gone for a bright, fresh, wintry snowflake card, but you could just as easily switch this up for beautiful florals too. The centre step card is such a fun one to make, and really quite easy too, especially if you have the metric blade guide on your Stampin’ Up! Trimmer. All you need […]

A Cute Christmas Gift – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop November ’25…

The Creativity Abounds Blog Hop Team are back our gift giving blog hop, and I have got a cute Christmas gift idea for you, perfect for a little thank you for friends, or maybe even neighbours or just those who you want to recognise this holiday season. I had some lovely red candles hanging around in my craft room, so decided to use the Traditions of Christmas Suite to decorate one and make a lovely little gift box for it. Sadly these papers are out of stock at the moment in the UK, but you can recreate this with any […]

Branching Out – Color Fusers Blog Hop – November ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop where have got a gorgeous (though slightly unusual) colour combo for you, and I am showcasing the new Branching Out bundle from Stampin’ Up! This month we have got Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock and Blackberry Bliss, not three colours I would have put together, but they SO work! The first thing that I do when I get given a colour challenge is to get all three ink pads out on my desk, to really see the colours. I then have a glance over each of my stamp sets and pick […]

Soft Subtle Snowflakes – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop October ’25…

The Creativity Abounds Blog Hop Team are back with projects made with products from the recently released Online Exclusives or Mini Catalogue – and this soft, subtle snowflakes Christmas card is made using a real mix of new goodies. I had a lot of fun making it. The main set I used here is the Snowflake Kisses bundle, it has a great mix of dies and some lovely wintery sentiments too. I also brought in the Delicate Pines and Branching Out dies. The Delicate pines dies have a lovely looking pine branch snowflake and the Branching Out dies have a […]

Autumn Trees – Color Fusers Blog Hop – October ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop where we are working with the colours Basic Black, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive – the perfect combination for this card made with the Autumn Trees bundle. I have had a little play with watercolouring here and love how the tree itself is the star of the show. Because we are watercolouring with this card, we need to use Staz-On ink rather than Memento ink. We need an ink that isn’t waterbased, otherwise when you add water it will react and run, not the prettiest of looks! I […]

Modern Christmas Card – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop August ’25…

The Creativity Abounds Blog Hop Team are back with another Stamp Camp in September, during which you receive instructions in both metric and imperial to make a whopping 26 projects using the Modern Christmas suite of products. We love sharing our creativity and inspiring you to get the most out of your products. The colour scheme of this suite is Black, White and Gold, but I have injected a real pop of colour by adding Gorgeous Grape to this card, I love how it pairs with the gold for a really rich and regal look. I can’t give any instructions […]

Autumn themed cards – Color Fusers Blog Hop – September ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop where we are focussing on Autumn themed cards working with the colours Garden Green, Cajun Craze and Basic Beige. As soon as I saw this colour scheme I knew which stamp sets I was going to be playing with, and hope you like the end result. These are definitely not my go to colours, but sometimes it is good to go out of our comfort zone, and they are perfect for those autumn themed cards, so I tried to embrace it and see where I ended up. I loved using […]

Bright and Bold Coneflower Celebrations – Be Inspired Blog Hop Aug ’25…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where our theme this month is Bright and Bold, and I have made a card using the gorgeous Coneflower Celebrations stamp set, showcasing a variety of techniques. I hope you agree that I have met the brief!! I absolutely loved making this card, with a mix of colouring with alcohol markers, and ink blending using our brilliant blending brushes. This is a slightly larger card than usual, which I think really works well with the Bright and Bold theme! To start with I grabbed a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock measuring […]

Tri-fold Z-fold card – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop August ’25…

We are talking all things fun fold this month here at Creativity Abounds and I have made a gorgeous tri-fold z-fold card for you today, using the amazing Charming Day suite of products – I am really enjoying using this suite at the moment, the flowers are just stunning, especially heat embossed in gold like I have done here. The colour scheme I have used here really isn’t my usual go to (pinks and purples for anyone wondering, lol!) but I really love how the greens and oranges work together. I went for Timid Tiger and Old Olive, with a […]
