Soft Pastels – Color Fusers Blog Hop – January ’26

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, with soft pastels and a hint of gold – just perfect for these Winter months which can be quite dull and dreary at times. Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink work so beautifully together, and when you add Gold Foil, well that really is something truly special. I used two brand new sets for these cards, both available from today!! The leafy stamp and die are both from the Nature’s Symphony bundle, along with the background stamp, and the flower and sentiment are from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set – I […]

Monochrome Thank You Card – Be Inspired Blog Hop Dec ’25…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where appropriately for after Christmas we are focussing on the theme of giving thanks. I was really behind this year, and didn’t send any Christmas cards at all, so decided to send thank you cards in January instead! I treated myself to the 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar this year, and used the products I got to make this Monochrome Thank You Card, I just love how blue and white work together, without needing any other colours! The papers in the advent calendar are absolutely gorgeous, and there are a […]

How to make a grungy masculine card – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop December ’25…

Hello and welcome to my blog, where today I have got something a little bit different for you, a fabulous grungy masculine card. We all know that Stampin’ Up! do florals and cute critters beautifully, but sometimes we just need to make a card for the men in our lives, and that can be a real struggle! So, today I am stepping out of my comfort zone and getting a little bit inky (literally!) with the soon to be released Gears and Textures bundle. This set is absolutely perfect for those masculine cards or for anyone who loves a bit […]

Coloured Florals – Color Fusers Blog Hop – December ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop, with a slightly unusual (I think anyway!) colour combination, which just called for some coloured florals. This month we are playing with Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush – the pop of colour here against the really neutral colours looks fantastic in my opinion. I decided to play with some new products that will be coming out in January, the Fragrant Layers stamp set, but you can absolutely make this same card with any open flower and leaf stamps that you have – it will work perfectly with so […]

How to make a centre step card – Be Inspired Blog Hop Nov ’25…

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired blog hop, where our theme this month is Feeling Festive, and I am going to show you how to make a centre step card – the best bit is that you get to choose how to decorate it! I have gone for a bright, fresh, wintry snowflake card, but you could just as easily switch this up for beautiful florals too. The centre step card is such a fun one to make, and really quite easy too, especially if you have the metric blade guide on your Stampin’ Up! Trimmer. All you need […]

A Cute Christmas Gift – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop November ’25…

The Creativity Abounds Blog Hop Team are back our gift giving blog hop, and I have got a cute Christmas gift idea for you, perfect for a little thank you for friends, or maybe even neighbours or just those who you want to recognise this holiday season. I had some lovely red candles hanging around in my craft room, so decided to use the Traditions of Christmas Suite to decorate one and make a lovely little gift box for it. Sadly these papers are out of stock at the moment in the UK, but you can recreate this with any […]

Branching Out – Color Fusers Blog Hop – November ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop where have got a gorgeous (though slightly unusual) colour combo for you, and I am showcasing the new Branching Out bundle from Stampin’ Up! This month we have got Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock and Blackberry Bliss, not three colours I would have put together, but they SO work! The first thing that I do when I get given a colour challenge is to get all three ink pads out on my desk, to really see the colours. I then have a glance over each of my stamp sets and pick […]

Soft Subtle Snowflakes – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop October ’25…

The Creativity Abounds Blog Hop Team are back with projects made with products from the recently released Online Exclusives or Mini Catalogue – and this soft, subtle snowflakes Christmas card is made using a real mix of new goodies. I had a lot of fun making it. The main set I used here is the Snowflake Kisses bundle, it has a great mix of dies and some lovely wintery sentiments too. I also brought in the Delicate Pines and Branching Out dies. The Delicate pines dies have a lovely looking pine branch snowflake and the Branching Out dies have a […]

Autumn Trees – Color Fusers Blog Hop – October ’25

Hello and welcome to this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop where we are working with the colours Basic Black, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive – the perfect combination for this card made with the Autumn Trees bundle. I have had a little play with watercolouring here and love how the tree itself is the star of the show. Because we are watercolouring with this card, we need to use Staz-On ink rather than Memento ink. We need an ink that isn’t waterbased, otherwise when you add water it will react and run, not the prettiest of looks! I […]
