A Quick Card for 4th July – Color Fusers Blog Hop – July ’25

Thank you so much for stopping by today, the Color Fusers are back with another colour challenge, and these colours really worked for my quick card for 4th July. When I see a colour challenge (especially one that is a challenge!) the first thing I do is look through my stamps and see what calls out to me.

As I was browsing my sets, I saw the Round We Go stamp set (currently on the Last Chance sale for just £9.50) and my mind went to fireworks and the 4th July. Now, I am not in America, and it is the 7th July now, but hey, if you live in the US why not take some inspiration and get making ready for next year already!

And if you are in the UK, well these are the colours of our National Flag too, so I guess it still works? I personally would change up the colours, but then I am such a pink and purple person that anything different is always a challenge!

This is a really quick card to make, hence the title ‘quick card for 4th July’, it really is just a bit of stamping. I used both of the big stamps and also the little star stamp too, just overstamping with the different colours. I also added some Smoky Slate blending round the edges of the card too, which I think added a little something.

The card base is Night of Navy, and I decorated the inside in a similar vein too, just in the bottom right corner, and added a few gems and a sentiment to finish too. The gems I had were white originally, but I used my Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers to add some of the challenge colours before adding to my card.
