How to use and store Gilding Flakes…

It’s been a couple of weeks since I blogged, so I wanted to quickly hop on and share with you how to use and store Gilding Flakes, or as they are now known in the Stampin’ Up! world, Gilded Leafing Embellishment. This brand new product is possibly my favourite from the new Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue, because they are just soooo pretty, and can be used in so many different ways with all of your existing stamps and dies. I made a series of three cards showcasing this gorgeous gold shiny stuff which I will be sharing more about […]

How to make a 3D triangular box…

I used many a paper trimmer before I found Stampin’ Up! and I must say I get the best cuts with this one, so I wanted to show you today how to make a 3D triangular box using the Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer. I first saw this type of box at the Stampin’ Up! On Stage event in Dortmund in 2019 and as soon as I held it I loved it, it is just so strong and tactile thanks to the triangular shape . First off, cut the Blackberry Bliss cardstock to 10cm x 21cm and score it on the […]

Wow, what a great mix, and colours I would never think of to put together, but they really do work. How to scrapbook a single photo…

I wanted to make a gift for my Sister-in-Law recently, and decided to give her a piece of home-decor, so I set about thinking of how to scrapbook a single photo. When I scrapbook, I normally try to fit about three photos on a page, but here I wanted to showcase a beautiful photograph of her three girls, taken while they were out for a walk last year. It is so lovely to see them all smiling and laughing together. I started by choosing a colour scheme, and I knew I wanted greens to tie in the photograph and a […]
