I love the Cracker and Treat Box dies from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and while the standard version is cute, it is a little small for a ‘proper’ gift, so I want to show you all how to make a giant cracker using exactly the same die set, some card and some paper. It’s much easier than you might think, and turned out a great size!
All you need to do is cut four of the dies from the same colour cardstock and then watch my video for how to cut them down and pop them together. It doesn’t take as much time as you think. To watch the video showing how to make a giant cracker, simply click on the picture below…
The Designer Series Paper I used is the Boughs of Holly DSP, with some Real Red card, but you can totally change up the colours and the papers to turn this into a birthday cracker or just some general treat packaging. Crackers aren’t just for Christmas. I saw someone online had made a good one for July 4th back in the summer too.
I made a cute tag to go with my cracker, using the Designer Tags die set, and fussy cut one of the poinsettias from the papers to embellish it. I love how it turned out and hope that my video of how to make a giant cracker might inspire you to have a go yourself!

Stampin’ Blends Course
Bookings are now open for my next Stampin’ Blends Course, starting on Sunday 5th February 2023, with four zoom classes running over several months (to give you plenty of time to practice in between).
